Dr. Aaron Victor

Dr. Aaron Victor is a specialist anaesthetist who completed his medical training at the University of New South Wales in Sydney. Part of this time was spent with the Albury/Wodonga Rural Clinical School where he gained a strong interest in rural health.

Dr. Victor started his postgraduate training at the St George and Sutherland Hospitals, Sydney. During this time, he also completed a Masters of Medicine in Critical Care at the University of Sydney. He underwent specialty training in Anaesthesia based at St George Hospital and gained further experience working at a number of south-eastern Sydney and south coast hospitals including Sutherland, Shoalhaven, Wollongong, The Royal Women’s Hospital, The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and St Vincent’s Hospital.

He undertook his Provisional Fellowship at the Royal Darwin Hospital and completed a yearlong sub-specialty Fellowship in Regional Anaesthesia (Nerve Blocks) at St Paul’s Hospital, Vancouver, through the University of British Columbia. Currently living in Darwin, Dr. Victor has appointments at the Royal Darwin and Darwin Private Hospitals. He is passionate about medical education and utilising regional anaesthesia to improve patient care.

Outside of anaesthesia, Dr. Victor enjoys running, hiking, rock climbing and scuba diving.
